Fabri-Kal Launches Alur Round Deli Containers

January 5, 2007

KALAMAZOO, Mich, February 05, 2007 – Fabri-Kal has released a line of round deli containers named Alūr [uh-loor]. The line consists of five popular sizes ranging from eight to thirty-two ounces with one common plug fit lid. The lip of the containers is rolled to ensure a leak resistant lid fit. For an extra level of security, the containers accept a tamper evident shrink band. Containers may also be printed for merchandise branding opportunities in up to five colors; six on the lid.

Alūr Round Deli Containers are made from APET, the same recyclable material used in water and soda bottles. The clear containers are resistant to fatty, oily or acidic foods and do not transfer or scalp their contents’ flavors. Frozen applications are also possible with Alu-r.

Alūr Round Deli Containers support Fabri-Kal’s mission to create products in an environmentally responsible manner and follow in the footsteps of Fabri-Kal’s Greenware line of compostable cold drink cups and lids made entirely from corn.

Headquartered in Kalamazoo, Mich and in continuous operation since 1950, Fabri-Kal has over 800 employees in three manufacturing plants across the country. More information about Fabri-Kal and their Alu-r product line may be found at the company’s website, www.f-k.com.
